Congress Avenue Mile  - 2010

Selection Procedures

Ø     Each team will consist of a minimum 9 runners and 2 honorary coaches.

Ø     Runners will qualify for the CAM based on 1600m times achieved during legitimate track meets held during the 2010 outdoor track & field season. 

Ø     The fastest nine confirmed runners will be selected to the team at 4:00pm on Tuesday, April 20^th. 

Ø     The remaining 12 will be selected by time and represent their determined team

Ø     Times must be submitted and athletes must be confirmed before this deadline in order to be selected.

 Ø     It is the responsibility of the athlete and/or school coach to submit verifiable times to the ranking committee. 

        DO NOT ASSUME WE WILL FIND ALL RESULTS.

•      Must be academically/athletically eligible

•      Must run for their schools (no club, unattached)

•            non UIL= Coach Must be a CCCAT member 

Meets

•         4 or more teams (no duals or tri-meets)

•         Varsity only

•          unattached= N0

•          indoor = No    

Selection Dates

•              end date =  for 1st 9  April 20th, Final 12  - April 27th

Verification

•             results must be sent to Regional coach by Track coach for Verification

•           confirm with Coach and/or meet director if invited.
